2019 Cocito Langhe Bianco
A perfectly juicy white with melon, white peach, and ripe apricot. A squeeze of mineral, wet stone, green apple and lemon on the palate.
In Piemontesi dialect, ARNEIS translates to ‘little rascal.’ It’s an ode to the difficulty of the ripening of hte grape because when it reaches full ripeness, the acidity drops quickly. To combat this challenge, Cocito harvests early to conserve the acids that brings this wine alive. 5% of Sylvaner was added as an experiment, giving a particular floral lift and a slight roundness, barely detectable but pleasing none the less. Perfectly juicy wine with ripe melon, white peach and juicy apricot notes. A squeeze of mineral, wet stone, green apple and lemon on the lengthy palate.
