NV Indigenous Prosecco DOC Brut
Light straw yellow. Bright notes of white peach and yellow !flowers, with hints of sweet spices. Nicely evolving creaminess brings out notes of candied apple and white peach, elegantly balanced with a crisp minerality.
Giorgio Rivetti, owner and winemaker of La Spinetta & Contratto, first approached Bianca Vigna 10 years ago as it was one of the few proseccos he enjoyed. Later, they created a wine for Giorgio's Indigenous label to market to the states which represented the quality and terroir Giorgio wanted to represent in his US portfolio of wines.
Unlike most proseccos that are found in the WA market today, the vineyards for this prosecco are much higher, reaching between 450-500 meters above sealevel. They are all hand harvest and carefully picked at just the right time when the fruit has the perfect level of both acidity and fruit. The result is a more balanced and refined palate and perlage as well as very expressive aromas.
Light straw yellow. Bright notes of white peach and elderflowers, with hints of sweet spices. Nicely evolving creaminess brings out notes of candied apple and white peach, elegantly balanced with a crisp wet slate finish. Pairs beautifully with most things but a few of our favourites are oysters, light cheeses, San Daniele prosciutto crudo, and king fish crudo.
