Monte Santoccio Rosso Veronese
The Corvina and Corvinone for this blend are dried for 4-5 months in small baskets, then pressed and macerated and fermented for 20 days while the other varietals are picked, pressed and fermented in September and are placed in stainless steel vats before blending. The wine is then aged in French oak for 12-18 months, depending on vintage.
Deep, ruby red- each sips displays a new complexity and layer with bright fruit of red cherry, plum and spices. Soft tannin and a long finish.
